I have 2 AD domains that I want to import users from. There may be some overlapping users between the 2 AD domains and I don't want any duplicates.

Is this possible in Securonix?

  • Create the first connection to AD DOMAIN1
  • Import Users from AD DOMAIN1
  • Create second connection to AD DOMAIN2
  • In the Configure User Import step, choose the settings below

Merge: Yes

Merge Imported Data With: AD DOMAIN1

Don't import new Users? NO (This will ensure that the users from AD DOMAIN2 get created as new users)

Select the field(s) on which user data will merge: Select the SAMAccountName or employeeid
