I ran the mysql_data_4.sql installation script from MySQL workbench to populate the default data and got the following error.

23:39:45 TRUNCATE TABLE profiles_types Error Code: 1175. You are using safe update mode and you tried to update a table without a WHERE that uses a KEY column To disable safe mode, toggle the option in Preferences -> SQL Editor -> Query Editor and reconnect. 0.000 sec

What should I do?

since this is workbench related warning/error, do what it recommends.. Workbench runs in safe mode out-of-the-box..

to disable it... Preferences -> SQL Editor -> Query Editor. look for the correct preference and uncheck it.

you need to restart workbench
