How can we install 64bit java on solaris ?

download both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of JDK and follow the installation process given on the following link.

download 32 bit and 64 bit versions of JRE and follow the installation process given on

http://www.java.com/en/download/help/solaris_install.xml

In solaris both 32 bit and 64 bit jdk are in the same folder and by default it points to 32 bit version. To make it point to 64 bit version set the environment variable JAVA_OPTS="-d64".
