Following are the steps for connecting Securonix with SAP HANA to import data:

  1. Get the file: ngdbc.jar from the SAP Client installation (Not available openly on the internet, available with SAP Hana Client installation only).
  2. Put the jar file in path : /webapps/Profiler/WEB-INF/lib of Securonix Installation.
  3. Restart the application. (Now the jar will be in the application's classpath and will be able to get referenced).
  4. While creating the datasource, select any database from the database type drop down (eg- MySQL). We can now enter the JDBC URL, Driver class and the connection details there.
  5. Put JDBC Driver class as :
  6. Put JDBC URL as jdbc:sap://<server_hostname>:30015/?autocommit=false
  7. Put the credentials for the server below in the username/password fields and press Test Connection/Save & Close.

Apart from these steps, please also check sufficient privileges have been provided to the user accessing the database.
